Meet the AL.com Super All-State Volleyball Team

Spain Park won its first state volleyball championship and topped the state’s top ranking in 2021.
Class 7A champions have won 113 of 131 sets played with a 47-4 record this season. Two of the Jags’ four losses were suffered by out-of-state teams and they compiled a 7-2 record against both incumbent teams to defeat the Jags.
Spain Park has beaten McGill-Tool in four of five games, including the state championship game, and has beaten Thompson three in a row following a loss to the Warriors.
The Jags have also beaten Class 6A Champion Mountain Brook and Class 5A Bayside Academy Champion twice each.
Spain Park have swept 11 of their last 12 games and haven’t lost a set in the Championship tournament.

Mountain Brook won their third straight title – second in Class 6A as the Spartans have won six championships in the past eight seasons.
Coach Ann Schilling guided Bayside Academy to a 20th consecutive title, an AHSAA record.
Class 4A Westminster Christian won their first championship, Class 3A Trinity won their second consecutive title, Class 2A Addison won their third title in four years and their 13th overall, Class 1A Donoho won their 12th title and the AISA winners were Heritage Christian in Class A, Edgewood in Class AA and Glenwood in Class AAA.
Spain Park and Bayside each placed three players on the Super All-State squad, compiled by AL.com high school athletic staff with input from coaches.
